Dear Colleagues,

We are happy to announce the first issue of the Journal of Language
Relationship (JLR), the international peer-reviewed scientific periodical
devoted to the problems of comparative linguistics, the history and
prehistory of language. 

We invite everyone working or interested in the field of language origins
and contacts, to both contribute to JLR as authors, and subscribe to the
journal.
