Call for Papers

Ces Journées permettront de faire le point sur les travaux qui au sein de la
communauté des chercheurs en lexicologie, terminologie et traduction concourent
à répondre au défi de la diversité linguistique. En s'ouvrant aux expériences
menées dans le monde, le comité scientifique sera particulièrement attentif à
sélectionner des communications portant sur une ou plusieurs des thématiques
suivantes :

Ingénierie Linguistique :
-  développement d'outils au service de la diversité linguistique,
particulièrement à des fins d'outillage des langues, de traduction et
d'intercompréhension ;
-  traduction assistée par ordinateur face aux défis de l'interculturalité ;
-  aides informatiques à la lexicographie ou à la terminologie bilingues ou
multilingues ;

Recherches en Contexte Plurilingue :
-  développement de lexiques et d'outils didactiques et pédagogiques s'appuyant
sur ceux-ci ;
-  traduction et intercompréhension entre langues locales et entre langue locale
véhiculaire et langue étrangère ;
-  équivalences interlinguistiques du point de vue de la lexicologie, de la
terminologie ou de la traduction ;
-  langues dominantes, langues dominées et langues de spécialité ;
-  analyse du discours appliquée au discours traduit ou rapporté depuis une
langue étrangère ;

Linguistique de Corpus :
-  recueil, transcription et diffusion des productions orales et écrites ;
-  traitement et analyse de corpus bilingues ou multilingues ;
-  exploitation de corpus en lexicographie et en terminographie.

HPSG-2009 will take place in July, 2009 in the ancient and beautiful city of
Göttingen, Germany. 

Call for Papers

Abstracts are solicited for presentations which address linguistic,
foundational, or computational issues relating to the framework of Head-Driven
Phrase Structure Grammar.
Each presentation will be allotted 40 minutes, but the talk itself must be at
most 30 minutes long, leaving at least 10 minutes for discussion.

Tutorials
There will be two tutorials offered the first day of the conference. Details
will be given in the second call for papers.

Invited Speakers
Invited speakers will be announced in the second call for papers.

Submissions
We will use an online submission system. All abstracts should be submitted via:

Abstracts should be in PDF format and should not be more than 5 (five) pages
long. Please direct any questions to the Program Committee Chair:

Abstracts should mention 'HPSG-09' in the title. All abstracts will be reviewed
anonymously by at least two reviewers. Abstracts should not include the authors'
names, and authors are asked to avoid self-references. 

Important Dates
Abstract submission deadline: March 2, 2009
Notification of acceptance: April 14, 2009
Conference: July 16-18, 2009

Publication
The conference proceedings will be published online by CSLI publications. A call
for contributions to the publications will be issued after the conference.

The final deadline for receipt of written versions of conference papers is
October 15, 2009.
