Description:

Deloitte LLP has an opening for a Communication Excellence Lead.
The purpose of this position is to design, build, enhance and manage a
state of the art communication program focused on the improvement of
overall communication skills of Deloitte professionals.  This program will
focus on the basic development of US English skills of non-native English
speakers, while simultaneously enhancing professionals' skills in critical
thinking, cross-cultural communication and other language skills.   This
role will include thought leadership in the areas of assessment,
diagnostics, design, identification and training of facilitators,
identification of appropriate and state of the art learning aids with the
aim of helping Deloitte professionals upgrade their overall communication
competency in our India offices.  

Key Responsibilities: 
General:
-  Provide program leadership that promotes program growth by implementing
strategies which maximize the retention and development of our
professionals in the area of communication.
-  Demonstrate a commitment to establishing/maintaining the CE
(Communication Excellence program) as one of the leading innovative
corporate programs in the development of global professionals.
-  Contribute to the CE program and other Deloitte initiatives through the
development and sharing of expertise, resources and material.  
Operations:
-  Develop, oversee and direct the CE program operations including
budgeting, scheduling, staffing, hiring and management of all program
curriculum, facilities, tools and initiatives.
-  Coordinate, attend and participate in required management and team
meetings. Present program presentations/information to the Deloitte
organizations to facilitate awareness and support.
-  Focus on the development and advancement of the CE team members included
outlining all specific job responsibilities, development of team member
goals and participation in all appraisal processes.
-  Develop, design and distribute program marketing/communication material
in conjunction with the promotion of the program.  These activities would
require working with professionals throughout the organization and externally.

Assess and Testing:
-  Overseeing and managing an efficient operation of test delivery and all
aspects of the assessment process.
-  Identifying, reviewing and implementing external recognized testing
programs, including establishing and building relationships with vendors.
-  Creating of all policy documentation related to the delivery of the
tests, including analyzing and creating test reports.
-  Implementing and maintaining quality assurance procedures to ensure
strict compliance with all regulations/guidelines associated with the
development, delivery and assessment of the applicable tests.

Program Curriculum:
-  Administer all aspects of the curricular offerings, to include
development, implementation, and evaluation of program requirements,
modifications, and approvals, as well as course development, review and
scheduling.  Ensure an effective, professional and responsive program.
-  Meet regularly with function/service area leaders, advisory boards and
talent groups to identify communication development needs, program issues,
modifications and enhancements.
-  Determine professionals' needs by working with each function and service
area.
-  Develop communication training modules suitable to ensure the successful
competence development of our professionals and to achieve a Mastery level
of the US English language.
