I have nothing to say (worth reading, anyway) on the subject, but I was
reminded of a recent article that might be of interest:
D.A. Hackman & M.J. Farah. 2009. Socioeconomic status and the developing
brain. Trends in Cognitive Sciences 13:65-73.
I haven't had a chance to read it, but they do touch on language
development (although Kuhl is not cited).
