Meeting Description:
The conference on Everyday Interaction Across Cultures aims to get together
researchers applying conversation analysis to everyday interaction. We welcome
papers on any aspect of everyday interaction in any language.
The conference will be held on September, 23-24 2009 and it will be hosted by
the Department of Psychology at the University of Portsmouth.
The opening plenary: ''It's disgusting': Practices for Criticizing Food and
Family at the Dinner Table' will be presented by Jenny Mandelbaum (Rutgers
University, New Brunswick).
Call for Papers
We welcome papers on any aspect of everyday interaction in any language.
If you would like to present a paper or contribute to a data session, please
send a 300 word abstract to Eva.Ogiermann at port.ac.uk
