I am very pleased indeed to announce that Dr. Jonathan Culpeper of the
University of Lancaster will be taking up the role of Co-Editor of the
Journal of Pragmatics from January 2010. We welcome Jonathan to the
Editorial team and wish him and the journal well for 2010 and beyond.

Jonathan has worked on historical pragmatics, (im)politeness and cognitive
stylistics inter alia and you can read more about him and view details of
his many publications on his website

Now receiving over 300,000 downloads a year, the Journal of Pragmatics
