Job description:
As a member of the core technology team, you will:
1. Guide technology developments from a language expert point of view; work
with speech engineers on ways to use and improve speech analysis algorithms
for speech and language assessment and scoring.
2. Design English assessment tests and measure their reliability.
3. Collect, process and manage linguistic data for technology development;
transcribe, annotate and validate recordings and text from various sources;
design and conduct evaluation experiments; manage internal and external
contributors and partners.

Job Requirements (ordered by priority):
1. MSc/PhD in linguistics or related discipline.
2. Excellent knowledge of English and Mandarin.
3. Expertise in second language acquisition or language assessment.
4. Professional experience of spoken English assessment would be a big plus.
5. Project management experience would be a plus.
6. Coding skills would be a plus.
