Linguos now supports cross-language search based on transcription. You can
enter text in most of the supported languages and retrieve results in any
other supported language.

For example, you can input a term in the Cyrillic alphabet and retrieve the
Hindi equivalent. Or enter a Hindi term and retrieve the Katakana version.

Available at http://www.linguos.com

This service is still in early stages of its development. Some obvious
limitations include the need for vocalized Arabic and the ability to use
Chinese as the target language.

For those of you interested in commercial options, Linguos is available as
a library/platform that can be integrated into your own corpora and indexes
to enable your own multilingual search/input.

Thank you all for your continued support and feedback.
