Abstract:

Wer aus dem Spanischen ins Deutsche übersetzt, bemerkt bald, dass es für
bestimmte typisch spanische Satzkonstruktionen keine direkte Entsprechung
im Deutschen gibt. Für andere gibt es zwar Entsprechungen, diese sind aber
im Deutschen oftmals unüblich, weil sie holprig und schwerfällig klingen.
Dieses Arbeitsbuch rückt aus der Übersetzerperspektive genau diese
Unterschiede zwischen den beiden Sprachen auf der Satzebene in
denMittelpunkt. Für die Konstruktionen, deren elegante Übersetzung
Deutschen erfahrungsgemäß besonders schwer fällt, zeigt es grundlegende
Lösungsmöglichkeiten auf. Diese bilden den Ausgangspunkt für eine
stilistische und textsortenadäquate Optimierung. Der dahinter stehende
theoretische Ansatz beruht auf der Annahme, dass das Übersetzen als
zweistufiger Prozess erlernt werden sollte, bei dem zunächst eine
Rohfassung erstellt und diese anschließend durch verschiedene
Überarbeitungsschritte zu einer Endfassung optimiert wird. Dieses
Arbeitsbuch festigt den übersetzerischen Umgang mit grammatikalischen
Strukturen und liefert den Studierenden damit grundlegende Fertigkeiten für
den weiteren Studienverlauf.
