Description:

The Department of Linguistics, McGill University, invites applications for
a 12-month (non-tenure-track) position at the level of Assistant Professor,
effective August 1st, 2010. Applicants must have a PhD in Linguistics,
specializing in syntax, and must provide evidence of strong research
potential and teaching ability. Responsibilities include teaching four
courses and providing supervision at the graduate and undergraduate levels.  

Salary: McGill scale. 

All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadian
citizens and permanent residents of Canada will be given priority. English
is the language of instruction at McGill, but knowledge of French is an asset.
