Description:

The University of Pittsburgh, Department of Linguistics, invites
applications for an open-rank visiting professor in Hispanic Linguistics
for one to three years. Applicants must have a solid knowledge of one core
area of linguistics (phonetics, phonology, morpho-syntax or semantics).
Competence in one or more of the following areas will be an advantage:
applied linguistics, bilingual education, variation or historical
linguistics. Candidates should send a CV (including a list of funded
research if applicable), a statement of research and teaching interests,
copies of 2 reprints or other written work, teaching evaluations, and
arrange immediately to have three reference letters sent directly to the
