Description:

The University of Konstanz is one of the nine Universities of Excellence in
the Federal Republic of Germany. 

Applications are invited for 
1 PhD Position in Phonology/Prosody/Syntax
(Salary Scale 0,5 TV-L 13)

available for 2 years, starting at the earliest convenience of the
successful applicant, no later than 1 Nov 2010. 

The ideal candidate has a master's degree or equivalent in linguistics or a
closely related field, preferably with a focus on phonology and/or syntax. 
Knowledge of Icelandic and an interest in research topics in Icelandic
phonology and/or syntax is a strong advantage.
