Call for Papers

The International Linguistic Association (ILA) invites submissions for its 56th annual conference to be held at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in New Brunswick, April 15-17, 2011. Papers in any area of linguistics are appropriate; however, the theme of this year's conference is 'Globalization, Language Contact and Language Vitality'.

Keynote Speakers

John McWhorter (Columbia University),
Suzanne Romaine(University of Oxford), and
Dan Bikel (Google).

Submission Guidelines

Please submit abstracts at http://linguistlist.org/confcustom/ILA2011. The submission deadline is January 15, 2011. Authors of submissions will be notified of acceptance by February 15, 2011.
