International scientific conference dedicated to contemporary issues connected with discourse studies and pragmatics, this time with focus on discourse analysis in contemporary digital media and the Internet.

Call for Papers

This conference is the fourth in a series of conferences held by Department of English and American Studies on pragmatics and discourse analysis.

Your participation at the conference is determined by the following requirements:

1. Participants are requested to send in their abstracts by January 31, 2011. Based on the focus of your abstracts, the organizing committee will decide about the topical arrangement of the conference program and the individual panel(s). The final program will be sent to the participants before the conference. The participants will also receive formal requirements for writing their papers.
2. To cover the conference-related costs, the Committee asks you to pay a one-time conference fee totaling 50 Euro. 
3. Please fill in the registration form and send it along with your abstract.

Conference Deadlines:

January 31, 2011 -  Completed applications including abstracts
February 10, 2011 -  Notification of acceptance
February 28, 2011 - Payment deadline
March 24 - 25, 2011 - Conference dates
April 30, 2011 - Papers for publication
May 15, 2011 - Decision on publishing the papers in the respective TIL issues
