We are happy to announce that the 42nd Poznan Linguistic Meeting (PLM2011) will take place on 1-3 May 2011 in Poznan, Poland. The Meeting will be organised by the School of English, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan. The leitmotif will be 'Language, Discourse and Society: Collective and Individual Aspects of Social Dynamics'.

Please note that the conference will be held in Poznan rather than Gniezno (as was the case in 2008-2010).

Call for Papers:

Submissions:

The leitmotif of the 42nd PLM will be 'Language, Discourse and Society: Collective and Individual Aspects of Social Dynamics.' Proposals of papers for both oral and poster sessions related to this main theme, as well as to other fields of modern linguistics, are invited.

Each paper in the oral session will be given 30 minutes, including 10 minutes for discussion. Poster sessions will be an integral part of the conference programme. The language of the conference is English.

All regular submissions will be reviewed by our International Advisory Board.

Notification of acceptance for papers and posters: 25 February 2011
