Description:

Université Laval's Department of réadaptation (Rehabilitation) offers a
professional Masters (M.Sc.) program in Speech-Language Pathology that
enrols 50 students per year. The department also houses the programs of
Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy (both M.Sc. degrees).
Applications are invited for two (2) full-time tenure-track positions in
the Speech-Language Pathology program. 

Description of Positions

- Graduate teaching in speech-language pathology:
* Position 1: Particularly courses in acquired language disorders in adults
and the elderly
* Position 2: Particularly in courses in motor speech disorders among adults 
- Contribution to teaching in other areas of the speech-pathology program.
- Development of an independent research program in speech-language
pathology or a related discipline.
- Direction of research projects at the master's and doctoral levels.
- Participation in pedagogical and administrative committees in the
Département de réadaptation.

Criteria of Selection

- Completed, or in the process of completing, a doctoral level diploma in
speech-language pathology or related discipline.
- Research expertise in the following areas will be considered an asset: 
* Position 1: In the area of acquired language disorders in adults and the
elderly
* Position 2: Particularly in courses in motor speech disorders among adults
- Experience teaching at university level in speech-language pathology or
related discipline.
- Completed master's level diploma in speech-language pathology (M.Sc. or
equivalent), and be member (or eligible to become a member) of the Ordre
professionnel des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec and/or the
Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists are
an asset.
- Clinical experience in speech-language pathology is an asset.
- Candidates must have the potential to communicate and teach in French.

Position Title and Salary

- Poste régulier et à temps complet.
- As described in the collective convention in place at Université Laval.
