Linguistic Field(s): Computational Linguistics; Semantics; Syntax

Meeting Description:

Fluid Construction Grammar (FCG) is currently the only computational
construction grammar formalism that achieves full bi-directionality (i.e.
parsing and production) using the same set of constructions. This two-day
tutorial on FCG is open to all researchers who are interested in Construction
Grammar formalisms and have sufficient background (particularly of a technical
nature) to allow active participation. The ideal participant would be familiar
with techniques from symbolic programming, computational linguistics and
artificial intelligence. Please consult the website for further information on
the venue and the registration procedure.
