The aim of the conference is to create a forum for communication scholars that engage in teaching communication skills in tertiary institutions and practitioners in corporate organizations to share their experience among themselves. The objectives of the conference include, among others:
      
-To deliberate on the role of Communication skills in the era of globalization.
-To find out about the current trends in communication skills research and practice.
-To discuss the state of the art in developing curriculum for communication skills in higher education and organizations.
-To deliberate on the way forward for enhancing communication skills research and practice in higher education and organizations.
