The RaAM Association (Researching and Applying Metaphor) is pleased to
announce its 2010 Early Career Research Paper Prize, which aims to
encourage the production and dissemination of high quality research in the
study of metaphor, metonymy and other aspects of figurative language, with
a commitment to the application of metaphor research to 'real world' issues.

The prize will be awarded for the best research paper published by a
researcher who has recently completed a PhD. The prize for 2010 will be
announced at the RaAM8 conference in Amsterdam in July. Closing date for
entries is 30 April 2010.

Conditions and procedures can be found on www.raam.org.uk
