This student school, held in Nancy from 22 to 24 March 2010, before the conference of the GDR  'semantic modeling' is intended to Master students and PhD, in linguistics, computer science and mathematics and to interested colleagues.

It aims to ensure both an introduction to formal semantics accessible without prerequisites, and secondly to propose basic courses but also more advanced topics on semantics.

It is supported by the GDR CNRS 'Semantic and Modeling 'directed by Francis Corblin,  Nancy University, INRIA and ATALA.

A program that will draw on examples and exercises linguistically motivated is expected. It is still under development

Accommodation grants subsidized by ATALA be proposed to first students enrolled (see program announcement).

Accommodation:

For student accommodation, an agreement was reached with the Residhome Apart Hotel Nancy (http://www.residhome.com/residence-hoteliere-aparthotel-nancy-123.html). 

The agreement is secured until February 28 and includes:

-Special price of 25 euros / night / person for a stay of at least 5 nights

-Special price of 28 euros / night / person for a stay of 1 to 4 nights 

-Covers 15 studios with two beds. Each studio will be shared by two students.

Each student wishing to benefit from this agreement must reserve personally one's housing to the hotel, mentioning the agreement with INRIA.

The hotel will handle the distribution of students in studios. If two people want to share a studio, they each must be reported at the time of booking.

Financial Support:

With the support of ATALA (http://atala.org), a support 10 euros / night will be given to member students who request it:

-Priority to students attending the full week (conference + workshop)

-In order of registration

-Within the means available
