We are pleased to announce the fourth edition of the Conference Communication 

Call for Papers

Topic Areas: 
- the pragma-dialectical approach to argumentation and the concept of strategic
maneuvering
- argumentation and emotions
- argumentation in institutional contexts
- models of argumentation and types of argument
- argumentation in language and argumentation in discourse
- argumentative discourse analysis
- argumentation, topoi, loci
- argumentative techniques and discourse strategies with argumentative aim
- persuasion strategies and argumentative practice
- argumentative discourse in public space and private space
- argumentative discourse and media strategies
- conversational approaches to argumentation
- scientific discourse and discourse for specific purposes
- cultural aspects in communication
- literature and argumentation
- cooperation and conflict in public space and in private space
- political dialogue and polemic
- public opinion, civic engagement, and role of contemporary citizen

Conference Organization:
1. Presentations in successive and parallel sections - 20 minutes for
presentation, 10 minutes for comments, questions, answers. Conference languages:
French, English, Romanian. Languages for publication in the conference
proceedings: French, English. 
2. Two workshops (one in English, the other in French) conducted by guest
speakers. Participants in the workshops will be delivered a certificate to be
used, if needed, for credits acknowledgement.
3. Poster sessions may take place during the conference. 

The next circulars and announcements on the conference Website will include 
further details on fee payment, the conference program and accommodation 
arrangements. Registered participants whose papers have been accepted for 
presentation will be informed by mail of any posting on CAPS4 Website.
