Job Description 
Linguists with Foreign Language expertise and experience in high-quality 
translation, interpretation and other language related support skills, needed to 
fill operational requirements.  Candidate will possess superior language skills 
for use in supporting a national security mission through use of highly 
proficient listening, reading, transcribing, advising and writing skills.  

All applicants shall be subject to testing for language proficiency levels.  A 
few positions may provide opportunity for foreign travel.  The following are the 
basic qualifications for this position: 

1.Interpret and translate written and spoken communications
2.Transcribe and analyze communications
3.Performs full range of activities in processing material or participating in 
situations requiring a general professional capability 
Skills:
Must be able to score a minimum 3/3 Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) 
which is the customer's language proficiency test and have previous 
experience as a professional linguist. 
Knowledge of cultural regions, good interpersonal skills, and communication 
skills. 
Excellent listening, reading, writing, speaking, transcribing, advising and 
writing skills
Technical Skills: Must be proficient in basic computer skills, Microsoft tools 
such as Microsoft Work and Microsoft Excel, standard web browsers such as 
Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, and the ability to use email 
applications including web mail
Education
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience
