Meeting Description:

The main topics of the conference are: teaching and teaching methods,
translation, applied linguistics, theoretical linguistics, as well as possible
practical applications of new psychological, philosophical and cognitive
theories of language.

The official languages of the conference are English and Polish. We invite you
to submit abstracts in Polish or English (no longer than 1000 characters).

Important Notice: 

Due to a technical issue with our registration form, the deadline for abstract
submission will be extended till 15 August. Participants who have not received
any confirmation of registration and participants who will not have received an
abstract acceptance/rejection letter by 15 July are kindly requested to register
once again and to send a copy of their abstract to
konferencja at lingwistyka.edu.pl. Apologies for the inconvenience.

The Higher School of Linguistics in Warsaw is pleased to announce the tenth
anniversary of its foundation. In order do celebrate the anniversary The First
International Linguistic Conference in Warsaw will be held from 19 to 21 October
2010. 

Registration is possible only via online registration form provided on our website:

The conference fee of 100 EUR includes attendance at all the conference
sessions, conference materials and the book of abstracts, as well as dinners. It
will be possible to register on site. The conference fee will for 'last minute'
registration will be 125 EUR.
