Laboratory Phonology¸ the journal of the Association for Laboratory
Phonology, invites the submission of manuscripts for full-length articles
to be published in Volume 2, Issue 1. This will be the first 'regular'
issue of Laboratory Phonology,  following the publication of Volume 1 which
featured papers derived from the Laboratory Phonology 11 conference.  

Manuscripts that are submitted by August 20, 2010 will be given priority
consideration for inclusion in vol. 2.1, and will be processed
expeditiously through the journal's stringent peer-review process. 
Submissions received after August 20 will be considered for publication in
vol. 2.1 subject to available space and depending on the manuscript's
readiness by the publication deadline, and will otherwise be considered for
publication in a later issue.  Volume 2, Issue 1 is scheduled to appear in
print June 2011.

Laboratory Phonology is a new journal launched in 2010 by the Association
for Laboratory Phonology and published by Mouton de Gruyter.  Laboratory
Phonology publishes articles featuring laboratory or experimental research
on the elements of spoken and signed language, their organization, their
grammatical function, and their role in speech communication.  Laboratory
Phonology welcomes submissions from a range of disciplines including
linguistics, psychology, speech & hearing science, communication science,
computer science, electrical & computer engineering, and other related fields.
