Dear Subscribers,

My name is Flora Du and I am an international student originally from China. 
I started working at The LINGUIST List as the Financial Editor in August 2009 
while pursing my Masters degree in Accounting at Eastern Michigan University. 
The LINGUIST List employs students from diverse backgrounds and provides a great 
opportunity to share and learn through cooperation. Please donate to help keep

The provision of accurate and timely financial reports and updates about the 
revenues and expenses of the organization constitutes my major tasks at The 
LINGUIST List. These reports enable efficient management decisions with regard 
to the feasibility of continuing LINGUIST List services.

I am the only accounting 
student here, as all the other students are linguists majors. I feel privileged 
and grateful to work at LINGUIST List because of the excellent opportunity to 
apply my accounting knowledge and work with a diverse group of people. 

The experiences and skills I have acquired here have helped me as a person to grow 
psychologically, socially and professionally.

I would like to stress that 100% of 
donations from you goes to supporting The LINGUIST List and it's students. In 
return for your donations, we put in hours of hard work to keep The LINGUIST 
List up and running for you. Without your continued support and generous donations, 
The LINGUIST List would be unable to provide this opportunity to us, the student 
workers. In turn, the global linguistic community would be bereft of the The
