The Department of Applied Languages of Tshwane University of 
Technology (TUT) invites you to a symposium to share language teaching 
and research experiences.

Conference will be held at: CSIR International Convention Centre Pretoria 

2nd Call For Papers

Extended deadline: May 14th, 2010

We welcome paper presentations (approx. 20 minutes and 10 minutes of 
discussions) and poster presentations (5 minutes), focusing on Languages 
in Africa. The language of presentation will be English. 

Presenters are to submit Topics/Abstracts (500 words max.) in MS Word 
format to reach the Department of Applied Languages by 30th April 2010. 

Abstracts should be sent by e-mail to Ms Lilian Gangla - 
GanglaLA at tut.ac.za, Receipt of abstracts will be acknowledged, and 
acceptance of abstracts will be done by 10th May 2010. Abstracts will be 
distributed at the Symposium. Kindly put your contact details and your 
abstract on two separate pages. 

PC PowerPoint presentation facilities will be available. As a backup, 
presenters will be asked to E-mail their slide show presentations ahead of 
time. 

Please note: Confirm attendance by 31st May 2010. 
Conference fees: South African Rand 1,500 
United States Dollars 210 (approx.)
