Meeting Description: 

An international event will be held at the XXIX. Summer Courses/ XXII. European
Courses of the University of the Basque Country, during the 21-23 of June 2010.
It is the 4th meeting of the ESF funded network Edisyn, which gathers research
groups and researchers from all across Europe working in the area of
micro-syntactic variation. For the first time, the meeting will include an open
thematic session (Variation in datives: a micro-comparative perspective),
devoted to micro-linguistic variation on datives and the expression of indirect
objects. The meeting will include four invited speakers: Ignacio Bosque (Univ.
Complutense de Madrid), Richard Kayne (New York Univ.), Peter Svenonius (CASTL,
Tromsoe, Norway), and Höskuldur Thráinsson (Univ. of Iceland). We would like to
invite you to attend and participate in this exciting event, and to pass this
announcement to all those you may consider potentially interested. For more
