Second Annual International Conference in English and American Studies 

2nd Call For Papers

Theory and practice are inseparable, as new theories have a direct impact 
on practice, and empirical research has proven to be fertile ground for new 
theories. In this regard, you are cordially invited to attend our second 
annual conference, during which well-established theories will be 
challenged, expanded upon or related to practice, and new theories will be 
introduced. Selected papers will be published in a peer-reviewed 
conference proceedings. 
We look forward to your contributions in the following fields:

The conference will be opened the evening of 7 September with plenary 
addresses followed by a social gathering during which refreshments will be 
served. The next day, you will have the opportunity to present your latest 
research as well as to attend sessions in your academic field and engage in 
interesting discussions with your peers. 

Registration: 
The deadline for submitting paper proposals is 10 June 2010. The 
registration fee of 1000 CZK covers the publication costs of the conference 
proceedings, organizational costs, and refreshments, including lunch. The 
fee shall be paid by invoice by 15 June 2010. Participants from abroad may 
pay in cash upon arrival.
