Morphology in Linguistic Theory 

Call For Papers

The fourth annual meeting of the Arizona Linguistics Circle will be held 
October 15-17, 2010 on the campus of the University of Arizona in Tucson. 
The theme of this year's conference is "Morphology in Linguistic Theory".

Abstracts from all areas from linguistics are welcomed but abstracts fitting
with the main theme of the conference will be given preference.

Abstracts are invited for:
- 20-minute talks with a 10 minute question period to follow, and
- a poster session.

Submissions are limited to one individual and one joint abstract per author.

Invited Speakers:
Shigeru Miyagawa (MIT, Cambridge)
Rolf Noyer (University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia)
Adam Ussishkin (University of Arizona, Tucson).

Submission Guidelines:
Please submit abstracts electronically at
http://linguistlist.org/confcustom/ALC2010.

Abstracts should be anonymous and in PDF form, a maximum of two pages 
including figures and references (with 1 inch margins on all sides and 12 
point font size). Any non-standard fonts should be embedded in the PDF 
document.

Abstracts should include up to five keywords after the title, including subfield
and language (family), in order to help us match the abstracts to reviewers
familiar with the topics discussed in the abstracts.

Please indicate your preference for:
- main session,
- poster session.

Submissions by graduate students are particularly welcome.

Submission deadline: July 31, 2010
Notification of Acceptance: September 1, 2010
Conference dates: October 15-17, 2010.
