Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will teach English courses and liberal arts
subjects in his/her expertise, including lower and upper division courses
and graduate courses.

Qualifications:
Applicants must fulfill all of the following:
(1)  must have a Ph.D. degree or academic achievements comparable to a
Ph.D. degree 
(2)  must have enthusiasm for and experience in university-level
English-language teaching
(3)  must be a native speaker of English
(4)  must have sufficient Japanese language proficiency to carry out
responsibilities as a full-time faculty member.
Nationality is irrelevant.

(1)  curriculum vitae
(2)  a cassette tape or CD-R including a 5-minute recording in Japanese
describing teaching philosophy
(3)  a description of research and teaching interests and experience in
either Japanese (about 2000 characters) or English (about 1000 words)

researcher/educator in Japan)
