Description:

Ajou University, Graduate School of Education invites applications for an
Assistant Professor/Open Rank Professor position with expertise in the area
of TESOL/Applied Linguistics. It is a full-time position (non-tenure track)
in the MA TESOL program; PhD in TESOL, Applied Linguistics or a related
field is required.

The successful candidate will be a native-like English speaker and teach
specialized courses in the MA TESOL, TESOL Certificate program and
Intensive Teacher Training program. The teaching load is 10 credit hours
per week. The candidate should carry out research in the specialized area,
conduct excellent teaching, supervise theses of MA TESOL students and
collaborate in the department work. 

Qualification: PhD in TESOL or Applied Linguistics 
Salary: Salary will be highly competitive and commensurate with experience
and qualifications, however, minimum salary is 48,000,000 won (about $40,000).
Benefits: Housing, health insurance, pension, research support 
Period: One year with potential for renewal
