Meeting Description: 

The LOT Winter School 2011 is hosted at the University of Amsterdam (UvA). The courses in this school are free for all PhD-researchers and second year research master students who are affiliated with one of the eight LOT Institutes, but also open for external students (Fee = 175 euros for one week, 300 euros for 2 weeks) See for the fee and credits the General information and the Schedule for the course program on the LOT website. If you need accommodation during the LOT Winter school please go to the Local Info. Here you will find all information on the host of the LOT Winter School 2011: the Amsterdam Center for Language and Communication (ACLC) of the University of Amsterdam.

New: Master Classes

During the Master Classes students will have the opportunity to discuss their project with experts in their research field. They are open for PhD students only. There is a limit of 12 participants per master class. A selection procedure will be applied. See for more information the Schedule.

For registration for the regular courses, go to the Registration on site. For registration for the masterclasses: they are only open for PhD students. There is a limit of 12 participants per masterclass. A selection procedure will be applied. For registration send a summary of your research topic (max. 50 words) to: lot at uu.nl. You will be notified by december 20th whether you are accepted or not. Please note that during the masterclasses we expect an active participation of all students.
