Meeting Description:

The Utrecht Institute of Linguistics OTS will host a workshop on Weakly Referential NP/DPs, just after the 16th Sinn und Bedeutung conference. This event is organized by the members of the NWO-funded project 'Weak Referentiality: Bare Nominals at the Interface of Lexicon, Syntax and Semantics'.

Call for Papers:

We invite submissions for presentations devoted to any aspect of the study of weakly referential noun phrases (e.g. weak definites, bare nominals, weak indefinites, idioms, etc.).

Important Dates:

- Deadline for abstract submission: May 20 
- Notification of acceptance: June 3 
- Workshop dates: September 9 

Abstract Submission: 

- Abstracts should be anonymous, in the form of a PDF file, at most 1 page, using a 12 pt. font with 2.5 cm (or 1 inch) margins on all sides. Examples and references can be included in a separate page.
