In het kader van het (NWO-)VIDI-onderzoeksprogramma "The uniformity of
linguistic diversity: Subject-Predicate relations" is bij het UiL OTS
plaats voor
2 AiO's syntaxis van de Nederlandse dialecten (1,0)
startdatum 1-10-2011, vac. nr. 681116: 
Het onderzoeksprogramma onderzoekt de syntactische variatie betreffende
subject-predicaatrelaties (d.w.z. de relatie tussen het subject Jan en het
predicaat lacht in Jan lacht) op drie verschillende niveaus van
vergelijking: macrovariatie (variatie tussen ongerelateerde talen zoals het
Japans en het Nederlands), synchrone microvariatie (variatie tussen
gerelateerde talen zoals het Limburgs en het Utrechts) en diachrone
microvariatie (variatie tussen bijvoorbeeld het Middellimburgs en het
hedendaagse Limburgs). Het theoretisch kader van het project als geheel is
dat van de generatieve taalkunde. Het programma omvat twee AiO-projecten en
een project voor de projectleider. Werkzaamheden van beide AiO's: het
opstellen van een corpus met dialectgegevens van de Nederlandse dialecten
door de eeuwen heen (van de Middelnederlandse dialecten tot en met het
hedendaagse dialecten); het uitvoeren van syntactisch onderzoek naar de
variatie betreffende het subject (project a) of het predicaat (project b).

de AIO-aanstelling is dat u een opleiding volgt tot wetenschappelijk
onderzoeker, uitmondend in een dissertatie binnen een periode van 3,5
(maximaal 4) jaar bij 1,0 FTE. Als onderdeel van uw opleiding wordt u in de
gelegenheid gesteld onderwijs te volgen binnen de Landelijke
Onderzoekschool Taalwetenschap. Wij zoeken een promovendus met enthousiasme
voor deze taalwetenschappelijke vragen en grote bereidheid en vermogen tot
nauwe samenwerking in teamverband. Kandidaten dienen afgestudeerd te zijn
in de taalwetenschap, neerlandistiek, of een andere taalstudie, aantoonbare
affiniteit te hebben met de generatieve taalkunde en een uitstekende
beheersing van het Nederlands en Engels te hebben. Tot aanbeveling strekt:
ervaring met onderzoek naar microvariatie en/of ervaring met diachroon
onderzoek (d.w.z. bronnenonderzoek naar oudere fasen van het Nederlands of
een andere taal). Zij die binnenkort afstuderen (maar een maand vóór de
startdatum) kunnen ook solliciteren. Wij bieden een aanstelling als AIO
voor 18 maanden per 1 oktober 2011 met, na evaluatie, de mogelijkheid tot
verlenging met nog eens minimaal 2 jaar (1,0 FTE). De omvang van de functie
is 80 tot 100%. Salaris: in het eerste jaar EUR 2.042 bruto per maand,
oplopend tot EUR 2.492 bruto per maand in het derde jaar (volgens de CAO
Nederlandse Universiteiten) bij een volledige aanstelling. Hieraan zijn
