Meeting Description:

This third conference for the SHLP will be held in the Department of Linguistics at The University of Adelaide, Adelaide, South Australia, immediately prior to the Australian Historical Association Conference, which also has as its venue The University of Adelaide. Adelaide has been a centre for the study of the history of linguistics in Australia, with important contributions from missionaries and from researchers in both the university and in the South Australian Museum. 

Call for Papers:

Papers on any theme relating to the history of linguistics in the Pacific region will be considered. Please send abstracts of no more than 300 words to:
