Meeting Description:

How global should we be? How local should we remain?
-Information, Communication and the Economy in the Time of Globalisation-
The current economic crisis with its unknown conclusion has thrown to light how closely intertwined today's international economies are and what effect local crises can have around the world, not only threatening the implosion of large economies but also threatening to throw the self-regulating market system into question.
