Meeting Description:

We are happy to announce that the 43rd Poznań Linguistic Meeting (PLM2012) will take place on 8-10 September 2012 in Poznań, Poland. The Meeting will be organised by the School of English, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań. The leitmotif will be 'Theory and Evidence in the Study of Language'.

Venue:

The 43rd PLM will be held at the new Collegium Iuridicum Novum building, active since October 2010 and officially inaugurated in December 2010 to house the AMU Faculty of Law and Administration. 

Call for Papers:

Submissions:

The leitmotif of the 43rd PLM will be 'Theory and Evidence in the Study of Language'. Proposals of papers for both oral and poster sessions related to this main theme, as well as to other fields of modern linguistics, are invited.

Each paper in the oral session will be given 30 minutes, including 10 minutes for discussion. Poster sessions will be an integral part of the conference programme. The language of the conference is English.

We also invite proposals for thematic sessions. A proposal for a session should include a clear statement of its objectives/topic/message (about 350 words, excluding references) as well as the names of proposed speakers (with affiliations) and a sample bibliography.

Please note that the organiser(s) of a thematic session will be expected to submit a description of the session (to be reviewed by our International Advisory Board), solicit submissions, organise the reviewing process, and submit a complete set of abstracts by the main submission deadline.

All regular submissions will be reviewed by our International Advisory Board.
