The Department of English Philology at the University of Zielona Gora announces: 

The First Conference on 'Language, Thought and Education'

Held in Zielona Gora, Poland on June 10, 2011 

Call for Papers:

1 .Subjects

We are interested in a wide range of subjects which refer to the studies of
Language:
Language acquisition, 
Language processing, 
Language education, 
Language and thinking,
Applied linguistics, 
Bilingualism,
Multilingualism, 
Language philosophy,
Language teaching methodology,
Portrayal of language,
Language studies, 
Linguistic pictures of human,
Language and form,
Language and meaning,
Language and context,
Language and the world,
Language and virtual worlds,
Language studies methodology

The above subjects are suggestions. Other ideas concerning the study of language, thought and education are welcome as well!

The language of the conference will be English. 

2. Conference venue

The conference will be held in the buildings of the University of Zielona Gora, campus B, al.Wojska Polskiego 69-71A

3. Important dates

Submission date: February 28, 2011
Notification of acceptance: April, 30, 2011
Conference date: June 10, 2011

4. Conference fee

The conference fee is 200 zlotys (PLN). This will include conference materials, proceedings volume publication, coffee break(s) and dinner. The account number will be announced.

5. Accommodation

The conference organizers do not offer any accommodation; however assistance in finding one might be provided upon request.

6. Conference proceedings

A proceedings volume is planned to be published. This will include the accepted, peer-reviewed papers.
