Meeting Description:

La question spécifique de ce colloque sera de se demander quel rôle joue le travail de standardisation par rapport aux efforts produits pour soutenir, voire revitaliser nos langues. La standardisation est-elle indispensable à la vitalité, utile, contre-productive, indifférente ? Que se passe-t-il à l'oral, en la matière ? Et l'écrit standard : à qui et à quoi exactement sert-il ? Comment définir sa réussite, et quelles sont les conditions de sa réussite ? Est-ce qu'il est utile à la vitalité de la langue ? Peut-on s'en passer ? ou plutôt, comment fonctionnent les groupes linguistiques qui ne disposent pas d'un standard ? Mais n'y a-t-il pas d'autres termes qui s'imposent, pour certaines de nos langues? dans certains cas, ne parlera-t-on pas plutôt de koinèisation ? d'autres formes de régulation ? Au total, on peut attendre de ce colloque : - un état des lieux de la standardisation des langues de France - une réflexion d'intérêt théorique et pratique sur l'articulation entre standardisation et vitalité.
