The aim of the I Simpósio Internacional de Linguística Funcional - I SILF (International Symposium of Functional Linguistics), to be held at Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul - UFMS, Campus of Três Lagoas, is to bring together students and researchers from different functionalist theoretical perspectives to discuss current researches on Language description (including sign languages), Typological studies, Linguistic change and Cognitive aspects.

Abstract Formatting:

- Minimum of 200 words, maximum 300 words;
