The 13th 'Annual Conference of the English Department of the University of Bucharest' will be organized in Bucharest and will take place from June 2nd to 4th 2011. 

The official language of the conference will be English.

Call for Papers:

Submissions are invited for papers in any field related to the formal study of language. Authors are asked to submit their abstracts as e-mail attachments in MS Word and .pdf formats to the following address: linguistics2011 at gmail.com. The abstract should include the title and three keywords/phrases that best describe the content of the abstract. The title of the paper, name of the author(s), affiliation(s), surface mail address and e-mail address should be included in the e-mail message. Abstracts should not be longer than two pages in length (including examples and references), in 12-point type, single line spacing and 2,5 cm. margins. Talks will be 20 minutes + 10 minutes for discussion. Please note that the deadline for abstract submission has been extended to March 15.

The official language of the conference will be English.

A selection of the papers will be published in Bucharest Working Papers in Linguistics.

Important Dates:

Deadline for abstract submission: March 15th 2011.
Notification of acceptance: April 15th, 2011.
