Description:

For a large customer project, RightNow is looking for a (near) native
Portuguese linguist with strong computational skills to work on Intent
Guide, our natural language search solution. 

Responsibilities:
-  Develop language and vertical specific linguistic resources for
Portuguese (grammar, dictionaries, semantic knowledge bases and others)
-  Train and optimize our Natural Language Search system
-  Oversee all linguistic issues that may arise during or right after go
live of the project, identifying the root cause, and following up on them,
ensuring the best possible relevance for all user questions

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Background:
-  MA in General Linguistics or equivalent
-  (Near) native speaker of (American) English
-  Demonstrated programming skills
-  Experience in the development of (resources for) Natural Language
Processing technology
-  1+ relevant industry experience
-  Demonstrated ability to analyze problems to identify the root cause
-  Customer-focus, a passion for language, and a pragmatic approach to
problem solving
