Tuning Sectoral Qualifications Framework(s) for the Humanities and the Arts
Identification of Progression Routes to Higher Education

I am writing to request information about admissions criteria for degree
level study in linguistics in a number of different European contexts. As
part of an EC funded project developing a sectoral qualifications framework
(http://www.unideusto.org/tuningeu/sqf-humanities-and-arts.html), we intend
to map progression routes to HE for a number of subject areas including
linguistics. For each country in Europe, a report is prepared which will be
used as input for formulating descriptors for the levels 3 to 5 of the
European Qualifications Framework (EQF), identifying different national
models and good practices.

Much of the information has been requested from experts with an overview of
each national educational system, e.g. Ministries of Education / National
Bologna Experts. One question remains that requires the expertise of
linguists working within the HE system in different countries. If you have
knowledge of the admissions criteria in one of the HE contexts listed
below, I would be extremely grateful if would detail them in the table given.

Austria, Belgium (Flemish), Belgium (French), Belgium (German), Bulgaria,
Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece,
Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Malta, Norway,
Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Turkey, UK (Scotland)

Linguistics in your program?
