We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

In addition to posting a summary, we'd like to remind people that it
is usually a good idea to personally thank those individuals who have
taken the trouble to respond to the query.

To post to LINGUIST, use our convenient web form at
http://linguistlist.org/LL/posttolinguist.cfm.

Dear LINGUIST List Readers,

We are conducting a research study to determine how acceptable
certain code-switched statements are between Chinese-English,
Spanish-English, Dutch-English, and German-English. We are inviting
your participation if you are bilingual in any of the above. Participation
will involve taking a brief two-part survey (approximately 20 minutes).
You must be 18 years or older to participate.

This study will help us understand how bilingual or multilingual
speakers combine words from more than one language. Participating in
the study will not require you to submit your name and responses will
be anonymous. If you are interested, please go to the below URLs.

Thank you very much,

Tatiana Fistrovic, Elly van Gelderen, Jane Grabowski, Jeff MacSwan,
