Meeting Description:

The Abuja International Conference on Language and Literature is a platform
that brings together researchers for cross fertilization of ideas on
intellectual and national development in all spheres captured by writers
and critics towards national reconstruction.

This year the conference focuses on Odia Ofeimun's works in celebration of
the author's unrelenting zeal and determination to bring a change in the
ethical, political, social and cultural life of the Nigerian people.

Papers are not limited to Odia Ofeimun's works.

Participation:

Participants should submit an abstract of not more than 250 words to
ofeimunconfab at yahoo.com  Authors should include their sub-theme, name,
title, address, email and phone number, using MS-Word, New Times Roman-Font
size 12 with double line spacing.

Abstract Submission Deadline:

Intending participant wishing to have his/her abstract appear in the
conference book of abstract should get to the co-cordinator not later than
30th June 2011.

Paper Submission Deadline:

Papers should get to the co-cordinator not later than 15th August 2011 if
they are expected to be published in the book of proceedings which will be
presented at the opening of the conference.

Submission of Papers:

Papers should not exceed 15 pages of A4 paper using the MLA style. A soft
copy (on CD) of paper should be brought alongside 20 hard copies to the
conference venue. Presentation at the conference is by SLIDE on
MS-PowerPoint. Alternatively, papers could be brought to the conference
venue by those whose abstract submission did not meet the deadline.
