More than a year ago I posted a query looking for participants for an 
online Navajo language survey about sibilant harmony.  Thank you to 
all who responded!  The thesis that eventually arose out of that 
research--entitled ''The Nature of Optional Sibilant Harmony in Navajo-
-is now available here:
