A.L.P (Associazion linguistica padaneisa [Padanian linguistic association])
has promoted an award on the Rhaeto-Cisalpine (or Padanian) languages.

Deadline: September 10, 2011

Our Association has promoted this Award on the following topic: ''The
Rhaeto-Cisalpine (or Padanian) languages, namely the following:
Piedmontese, Ligurian, Lombard, Emilian, Romagnol, Venetian, Istriot,
Romansh, Ladin, Friulian. The proposed works will consist of an unpublished
and original linguistic research about one or more of these languages.
Alternatively, you can develop a literary research about one or more of
these languages. Particularly appreciated would be researches considering
multiple Rhaeto-Cisalpine languages (or written in a Rhaeto-Cisalpine
language).''

AWARDS

1st Prize: 300,00 Euro
2nd Prize: 200,00 Euro
3rd Prize: 100,00 Euro

REGULATIONS

1) Registration for the Award is open to anyone, except for ALP members and
their relatives. Works can be written in one of the following languages:
English, French, Italian or any Rhaeto-Cisalpine language. The Association
reserves the right to request a translation into English (or French or
Italian) in case of works written in a Rhaeto-Cisalpine language not spoken
by all members of the jury.

2) All works, in typewritten form (handwritten texts are not accepted) must
be presented in a bundle of 4 copies, 3 of which are strictly anonymous and
one (only 1) in an envelope inside the bundle, accompanied by the personal
data of the author (name, address, phone number and optionally the e-mail
address). The material must be sent to the following address: A.L.P. - Via
Mazzini, 21 - 15060 Capriata d'Orba (AL) - Italy.

3) In order to take part in the Award, candidates must pay a contribution
of 5 Euro, payable in one of the following ways:

- Card PostePay No. 4023-6005-9123-3897, holder Gianfrancesco Ruggeri
(please include receipt of payment in the bundle);

- Cash, placing the money in the bundle between two of the anonymous copies.

4) Works must be postmarked by September 10, 2011 and will be judged by a
jury of experts who will draw up the charts, and its decisions will be
final and binding. The Association reserves the right not to award one or
more prizes, should the level of the works be considered inadequate.

5) The works will not be returned to the authors, they will remain
available for all possible future Association events and will become part
of Association historical archive.

6) The winners must personally pick up the prizes during the awards
ceremony, or send a trusted person in their stead. The awards ceremony will
take place on Saturday, November 26, 2011, at 16:00, Vàvar (Vaprio d'Adda)
- MI - Italy. The winners will be informed in advance via a personal letter.

7) The composition of the jury judging the received works will be announced
during the awards ceremony.
