Full Title: Early Modern Culture Online

Linguistic Field(s): Computational Linguistics; Historical Linguistics; Lexicography; Linguistic Theories

Call Deadline: 01-Sep-2011

Early Modern Culture Online (EMCO) aims to publish a thematic issue
dedicated to early modern language and linguistics research. The aim of the
thematic issue is to present some of the breadth of the field, and to bring
together peer-reviewd contributions from different strands of historical
linguistics.

In keeping with the interdisciplinary outlook of EMCO, we encourage
submissions from a variety of methodological research strands, including
(but not limited to) theoretical linguistics, corpus linguistics, or
computational linguistics. Contributions should position themselves within
the field of Early Modern studies, and may deal with general linguistic
questions or specific studies related to one (or more) language(s) within
the scope of the journal. The length of the article should be positively
correlated with its content.

Deadline for submission: September 1, 2011.

Submission can be made via the journal website:
http://journal.uia.no/index.php/EMCO

501(c) Non Profit organization. Our Federal Tax number is 38-6005986. These
donations can be offset against your federal and sometimes your state tax return
(U.S. tax payers only). For more information visit the IRS Web-Site, or contact
your financial advisor.

Many companies also offer a gift matching program, such that they will match
any gift you make to a non-profit organization. Normally this entails your
contacting your human resources department and sending us a form that the
EMU Foundation fills in and returns to your employer. This is generally a simple
administrative procedure that doubles the value of your gift to LINGUIST, without
costing you an extra penny. Please take a moment to check if your company
operates such a program.

Thank you very much for your support of LINGUIST!
