Description:

The Department for the Study of Religion at the University of Toronto
invites applications for a limited term position in the field of Hebrew
Language. The position will be at the rank of Lecturer, beginning July 1,
2011 and ending June 30, 2012. Contingent upon a successful performance
review, the position will be extended for a further year, from July 1, 2012
and ending June 30, 2013. 

The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellence in teaching
Modern Hebrew Language as well as experience in academic programming. She
or he will teach the equivalent of three full year courses in Modern
Hebrew, at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. The successful
candidate must have a PhD in hand at the time of appointment. Salary to be
commensurate with qualifications and experience.
