Meeting Description: 

The Italian Department of the University of Cambridge is very happy to announce that the 6th Cambridge Italian Dialect Syntax Meeting will take place at the University of Cambridge on June 16 - 17 2011. The meeting aims to bring together dialectologists working on any aspect of the syntax and/or morphology of the dialects of Italy (including non-Romance varieties such as Germanic, Greek, Slavonic, and Albanian varieties) and encourages all approaches - whether synchronic or diachronic, descriptive or theoretical (all frameworks) - to the regional languages and dialects spoken throughout Italy.
